I’m looking at Buck’s T-4 for a winter holiday with my exercise group in Roundup Montana. Are you the hotel that offers a horse driven sleigh or wagon ride to a secluded spot for dinner? We want to stay at Buck’s T-4 for sure.

Hi Geri,

We’d love to host your group from Roundup. I think you are thinking of either the Lone Mountain Ranch or 320 Ranch for the sleigh ride dinners. Give us a call at 800-822-4484 and we can give you more details. We hope to see you this winter!

I find that I was billed $340.80 on my credit card for two dinners on Oct. 6, 2017. We did eat there, but the bill was nowhere near that amount. The phone number for the hotel is busy now, and the restaurant is closed until Nov. 22. What is a person to do?

Hi Eileen. I sent you an email so we can resolve the discrepancy online…

Do you still have the fantastic dessert, Apple Dumpling with Cinnamon Icecream? If so would you be willing to share the recipe?

David OConnor says:

Hi Judy. You really reached back for a blast from the past! The apple dumpling dessert was indeed a Buck’s mainstay, but hasn’t been on the menu for several years. We were actually purchasing a frozen product for that item (the dough-wrapped apple), then we made a warm bourbon-brown sugar-cinnamon glaze to top it with and then our homemade cinnamon ice cream. Email [email protected] and he can give you details.
