It’s not too late to get in on the fun this Sunday, August 1st at Women In Action’s (WIA) annual croquet tournament. WIA plays an important role in the Big Sky community facilitating mental health and counseling programs, children’s camp scholarships, educational and tutoring scholarships, and managing a general health fund for needed medical and health services. The croquet tournament is a crucial fundraiser to support WIA’s work in our community.
Support WIA by spending this Sunday in the sun having a rousing day of good croquet fun. Event includes two rounds of croquet. live music by the Bridger Creek Boys and the opportunity to bid on a variety of items in the silent auction. Buck’s T-4 and Chuck Schommer have donated a private wine dinner for six prepared by Chuck himself. The dinner is being hosted at the home of Mike Scholz, owner of Buck’s, and his wife Andrea, WIA board member. Chuck guarded the helm of Buck’s kitchen for 20 years; during that time he and his staff were invited to prepare a wild game dinner for the James Beard foundation in New York City, a prestigious honor.
